Terms of Service

1. The service

Jingle runs a Secret Santa draw for 3–50 people and sends each person their match by SMS after payment. Everyone gives and receives one gift. Nobody draws themselves, and two people never draw each other. Custom exclusions are not available.

We provide the draw and messages, not the gifts. Your group arranges the budget, exchange date, and gift exchange. You must be at least 18 and legally able to place the order.

2. Your group

Get each participant’s permission before adding them, and share our Privacy Policy with them before submitting their details. Obtain any legally required guardian permission for minors. Do not use Jingle for unsolicited, unlawful, or abusive messages.

Check every name and mobile number, including its country code. Each person needs a separate number that can receive SMS. Once payment is confirmed, the draw begins automatically and the group cannot be edited or redrawn through the app. This does not limit your legal rights to correct personal data.

3. Payment

The total price and currency are shown before you pay. This is one payment for the whole group, with no subscription. Stripe processes payment; we do not receive your full card details. Your payment provider may charge its own fees.

Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We start the draw and SMS delivery then. Future price changes do not affect paid orders.

4. Matches and delivery

Each person receives only their own match; the organizer is not shown the full draw. SMS delivery depends on providers, mobile networks, and devices, so an exact delivery time cannot be guaranteed. Delivery reports do not prove that a message was read.

Save your private confirmation link. It shows delivery status and lets you retry confirmed failures without another payment, subject to retry limits. Retries keep the same matches. If a text does not arrive, email [email protected] with your order reference.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Consumers normally have 14 days from concluding the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. To withdraw, send a clear notice to [email protected] before that period ends. Include your name, order reference, order date, and contact details. You can write: “I withdraw from my Jingle order [reference], placed on [date].” No particular form is required.

If you expressly request performance during that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for service provided before withdrawal, where the law allows. The withdrawal right ends on full performance only if the legally required prior request and acknowledgment have been obtained. Paying or reading these terms alone does not waive that right.

Any refund due on withdrawal is made without undue delay and within 14 days of your notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Messages already sent cannot be recalled.

If the service is faulty, contact us. You retain all statutory remedies, including correction, a price reduction, or a refund where applicable. We do not offer additional change-of-mind refunds beyond your legal rights.

6. Our responsibility

We provide Jingle with reasonable care and skill. You are responsible for the details you submit and your group’s gift arrangements. We may stop unlawful use or abuse. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability or limits consumer rights where the law does not allow it.

7. Law and complaints

Finnish law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections or your right to bring a claim in the courts available to you under applicable law.

Contact us first about a complaint. Consumers can also contact Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and submit a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

8. Changes

The terms presented when you order apply to that purchase. Updated terms apply to future orders. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
